Training your employees on the Results Method® of procedure development and documentation will ensure your Procedures, Work Instructions and Forms:

  • Will pass a registration assessment or customer audit,
  • Reflect actual day-to-day operations,
  • Maintain process control and process repeatability, and
  • Are easy for your employees to understand and use.

This one day workshop is designed for training eight to ten of your employees on the skills needed to develop documented procedures to address International, National, or industry specific Standards (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO/TS 16949, AS 9100, TL 9000, ISO 17025, ISO 14001).

The workshop addresses basic document and data control techniques, the five basic types of documents, and determination of the most appropriate documentation method(s) for your organization.

Course is 15% lecture and 85% employee participation and covers:

  1. Considerations in selecting the most appropriate tool (type of document) for providing direction for an activity,
  2. Effective document review, approval, and release,
  3. Document and Data Control, and
  4. The five basic types of documented procedures:
  • Written Procedures
  • Process Maps
  • Pictorials or Photographs
  • Check Sheets
  • Checklist

The documents (Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms) developed during the workshop are unique to your organization (company proprietary) and are intended to be included in your Procedures Manual.
