Obtaining registration of your Quality Management
Systems requires management support and leadership throughout
the organization. It is important to
bring your managers up to
speed
on
the
registration
process, clarify your specific company goals and objectives,
and establish their roles and responsibilities in the preparation,
implementation, and ongoing continual improvement processes.

This workshop is designed to be combined
with our "Key Process Identification,
Documentation, and Methods of Measurement" training.

This three hour workshop is 15% lecture
and 85% management participation and covers a general overview of:
- Definition of a Quality Management System,
- Evolution of Formal Quality Management Systems,
- Review of the Quality Standard (e.g., ISO, ISO/TS, AS, TL),
- Benefits Achieved by Obtaining Registration,
- The Registration Process,
- Management's Role in Preparation for Registration, and
- Post Registration Activities.
Specific focus is given to the following activities essential to the
establishment of your process-based Quality Management System:
- Identification of processes needed for product realization,
- Determining the sequence and interaction of these processes,
- Determining criteria and methods needed to ensure process control,
- Ensuring availability of needed resources and information,
- Monitoring, measurement and analysis of processes, and
- Process control and continual improvement.
